This site is dedicated to Staff Sargent William F. Doyel, who gave his life for our country. St. Sgt. Doyel was a member of the 28th Fighter Squadron in the U.S. Air Force. He fought overseas during World War II. Though a tough military man, William touched everyone he knew with his kindness. He also fathered 8 children, all of whom he loved tremendously. He also left behind his wife and the mother of his children, Margaret. During his last days, he was not concerned for himself, but for his family. That is how St. Sgt. Doyel should be remembered. A man who showed his utmost bravery while defending our country during one of America's bloodiest battles, only to home home to his wife and children as the gentle man with the heart of gold. William Doyel was one of a kind, to say the least.
